Corporate Event Photographer for Horseshoe Bay Resort: Capturing The Ivy Kids Early Learning Center Company Retreat
If you're planning a company retreat at Horseshoe Bay Resort, you already know you picked a pretty spectacular spot. The Hill Country setting, the lake views, the resort itself: it's the kind of place that makes a corporate event feel like a getaway. As a corporate event photographer for Horseshoe Bay Resort, I'm always excited when I get to spend a few days there, and this retreat for The Ivy Kids Early Learning Center was a total joy to photograph.
The retreat had a little bit of everything, which is exactly what makes event photography fun for me.
Vendor booths: The day kicked off with vendor booths, and I love shooting these. There's so much energy. People are chatting, swapping ideas, picking up goodies, and making connections. I captured the booths themselves, the vendors in their element, and all those candid conversations that show what the event was really about.
The catered dinner: Dinner was catered by the Horseshoe Bay team, and it was beautiful. A great dinner is where a group really relaxes, so I focused on the details and the moments: the table settings, the food, and everyone laughing and connecting after a full day.
A magic show: Yes, a magic show! Honestly, this was one of my favorite parts. Corporate events don't always get to be this playful, and the reactions were priceless. Watching a room full of colleagues gasp, laugh, and get pulled into the act made for some of the most genuine photos of the night.
The award ceremony: The evening wrapped up with an award ceremony, which is always such a meaningful moment. Recognizing the people who make a team run is a big deal, and I made sure every honoree was captured mid-smile with their team cheering them on.
Why hire a corporate event photographer for your Horseshoe Bay Resort retreat?
A retreat like this has a lot happening at once, and you don't want to be the person running around with your phone trying to catch it all. Having a photographer there means you get to actually enjoy your event while someone else documents it. You end up with images you can use for your website, social media, newsletters, recruiting, and recap emails, plus memories your team will want to look back on.
I'm based in Austin and love shooting corporate events across the Hill Country, including Horseshoe Bay Resort. I know how to move through an event without getting in the way, and I'm always watching for the little moments people don't realize they'll want later.
