Along the way, I’ve gathered a go-to list of tips to help hosts prepare their spaces for the best possible photos. As an Airbnb owner and Superhost for the past three years, I've learned firsthand what helps a listing stand out.
1. Declutter and Deep Clean
Remove unnecessary decor, personal items, and anything that makes the space feel cluttered. My mantra is always "less is more."

5. Check for Last-Minute Details
Walk through the space right before the photo session to fix any imperfections.
Hide cables as best you can, remove trash cans from the front yard and anything that doesn’t belong in the frame.
Make sure all pillows and furniture are neatly arranged.
A minimalist, hotel-like presentation will make your space look fresh and appealing in photos.
