We LOVE our wedding video so much! It perfectly reflects our day from the upbeat music, to the clips of each amazing moment, we try to hold back tears each time we watch this. It was so much fun working with Bordeau Photo.

 Proposal Tips & Tricks

I am so excited to work together on your upcoming proposal! Here are some of my go-to tips & tricks to set you up for success.

  • Things to do before the proposal:

    • Send me a recent photo of the two of you so that I can recognize you day-of.

    • Keep your phone handy on the day-of your proposal. I’ll send you a text once I have arrived and please send me a 15 minute warning text. That way I can make sure I’m fully prepared by the time you get there.

      • Bonus points if you can shoot me a text once you have parked too!

  • What to wear:

    • Make sure to dress nicely, you can always say that you have dinner reservations (for example) to encourage you both dress up for the occasion. You don’t have to be full suit and tie but just something other than work out clothes is ideal!

    • Make sure neither of you are wearing sunglasses or masks during the proposal.

  • During the proposal:

    • Make sure you two are situated in a position where I can see you both (sample images to the left).

    • Stay on your knee as long as possible. This allows me some time to get different angles. Also, proposals can go by sooo fast so take your time and let it all sink in!

  • After the proposal:

    • I will give you a little bit of time to let the moment settle and then I’ll come over and introduce myself and we will go into some posed engagement photos. Close up of the ring, photos of you two, etc.

    • I won’t take up too much of your time as this is such a special and intimate moment so I will be sure to move quickly so you can get to celebrating!

  • A few other things to note:

    • Do you want to include family, friends, pets, etc in this moment? I have had many of my clients do so! I am happy to help arrange this.

    • Have you thought about if you want to include decor? Not all of my clients do, but if you’d like to I can also assist with this!

      • I have helped to set up rose petals, candles, bouquet of flowers, champagne, pictures, etc. I am happy to show up to the proposal early to do this so it’s ready once you arrive. This is an additional service I offer for $75 which can be added to any package! :)
